Obama for president?
Barack Hussein Obama Jr. was born on August 4, 1961, who was elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1996. In November 2004, he won election to the United States Senate. On October 2006, he published a book titled "The Audacity of Hope", which discusses about his political convictions and led to the focus of Obama to becoming a candidate for 2008 U.S. presidential election.Illinois senior U.S. Senator, Dick Durbin, has insisted Obama to consider running. On an article published in "The New Republic" in December 2005, explained that, "with no incumbent president or vice president in the race, 2008 offers Obama his best chance at winning the presidency." In September 2006, in a letter by Obama's opponent Daniel Hynes, was published in the Chicago Sun-Times, which inspired Democrats to push Obama to enter for the 2008 Presidential race.
On October 2, 2006 in an article published in New York Magazine quoted Obama saying, "People have asked me if I'm running in '08, and I've said no. And if I change my mind, I'll let you guys know".On October 18, 2006, Obama was on The Oprah Winfrey Show and said that if he decides to run for President, he would announce it on her show.
If he ever decides on running for the next president, he has a high chance of winning.
