9/27/06 The Continental Congress
The Continental Congress, which was formed in response to the Intolerable Acts, were divided into three groups; the Radicals, Moderates, and the Conservatives. They all had different goals. The Radicals wanted to separate from the Britain completely. The moderates, like the radicals, also wanted to separate from the British, but not completely. And the Conservatives, still wanted to be a child, under the British control.I think that the Radicals were most effective in acheiving its goals because of their response to the British control. Especially when the British sent troops to Boston, they immedately reacted by attacking them. In result of that about eleven people were killed or wounded, including the first African American leader, Crispus Attucks. I think that these kind of courage and determination shows that they're ready to do anything to achieve their goal.
